UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA Shah Alam
Dato’ Ar. Noor Dahlan Abdullah is a highly accomplished architect with over 36 years of experience in delivering innovative and impactful architectural solutions across Malaysia. A graduate with Honours in Bachelor of Architecture from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), he has played a pivotal role in shaping the architectural landscape through a broad spectrum of projects—from small-scale interventions to large, integrated developments.

He began his illustrious career as an Assistant Architect at Perunding Alam Bina, where he was part of the award-winning team in the PAM-sponsored Bandar Sunway Ideas Competition. Elements from their visionary proposal were later realized in the actual Bandar Sunway development, marking one of his earliest contributions to Malaysian urbanism.

Dato’ Noor Dahlan’s portfolio includes landmark projects such as the TV3 Office and Studio Complex in Wangsa Maju, Bank Negara Staff Training Complex near Shah Alam, and an integrated mixed-use development for MAKSAK along Jalan Cheras. He has also contributed to key urban developments including a tourist-class hotel in Jalan Petaling, the TV4 project in Shah Alam, and served as Assistant Project Architect for Bandar Tun Hussein Onn, overseeing site works for residential and commercial units, and participating in the Master Plan development.

In 1995, he took a bold step forward by establishing Arcadia Architect Sdn Bhd, where he led a diverse array of projects encompassing commercial, institutional, and residential typologies. Notable works include the Kolej Tentera Darat at Kem Segenting, Port Dickson, a Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) camp for the Pasukan Gerakan Am (PGA) in Simpang Renggam, and several government school facilities.

Now, channeling decades of design leadership and visionary thinking, Dato’ Ar. Noor Dahlan Abdullah is embarking on a new chapter as the Principal Architect of Noor Dahlan Architect, committed to delivering future-forward architecture rooted in purpose, innovation, and national identity.
